Physical Therapist (PT)
Position Summary
Provide skilled physical therapy services to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
- Treat conditions affecting strength, movement, balance, and coordination.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
- Assist with gait training, transfers, and use of mobility equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety and infection-control standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical, and patient-care skills.
- BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
Pay Rate
$58.18 - $63.06/hour
