Position Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and functional activities to support recovery and improve physical function.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Provide mobility, gait, balance, and transfer training.
• Monitor patient response and progress during treatment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Assist with appropriate therapeutic modalities and equipment.
• Report changes in patient condition to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or certification in the applicable state.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
