- Common diagnosis: Cardiac and stroke focused.
- Experience: Must have experience with telemetry.
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RN's required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?:
Yes, Tele on the unit.
- Charge Nurse: Yes, Charge on each shift, does not take a patient assignment unless necessary.
- Nurses Aides: 3-4 on shit, no specific ratios; Job Duties: patient care, ADLs, blood sugar checks, vitals, and more.
- Shifts & Scheduling: PCTs Shifts: Days 0700-1530, Evenings 1500-2330, Nights 2300-0730. Schedule is
typically made out for 4-6 wks at a time; Management will ask for travelers availability and will do their best to
accommodate requests, but nothing is finalized until the schedule has been balanced. Travelers are asked to stay flexible
and help fill gaps in permanent staff. Block scheduling not guaranteed.
- Weekend Requirements: EOW, Weekends are Sat & Sun.
- Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation.
- Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: None
- Floating Requirements?: First to Float
- Scrub Color: Maroon Red
- Unit Specific Orientation: 2 days of classroom orientation and 1 day of orientation with a preceptor.

Pay Rate
$20.91 - $25.79/hour
