Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to residents in a long-term care setting, helping improve functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with functional mobility, transfers, and safe participation in daily activities.
- Recommend adaptive techniques and equipment to support independence and safety.
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic strategies and safe care practices.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current OT license as required by the state.
- Current NBCOT certification or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
