Occupational Therapist (OT)
Position Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve independence in daily activities, mobility, and functional skills. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and appropriate techniques to promote independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and active state Occupational Therapist license.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
