Job Title: Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing staff and daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with hospital policies, and adherence to healthcare regulations. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and administrative responsibilities to support both staff and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
  • Monitor patient care delivery, including assessment, treatment, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to nursing staff to enhance skills and professional development.
  • Manage staff schedules, assignments, and workload distribution.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of nursing personnel.
  • Address patient and family concerns in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation related to patient care and staff performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of clinical nursing experience, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Pay Rate
