Job Title: Nurse Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing staff and daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with hospital policies, and adherence to healthcare regulations. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and administrative responsibilities to support both staff and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor patient care delivery, including assessment, treatment, and documentation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to nursing staff to enhance skills and professional development.
- Manage staff schedules, assignments, and workload distribution.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Address patient and family concerns in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation related to patient care and staff performance.
- Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
