Job Description:
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and related diagnostic imaging techniques to support accurate physician interpretation. The technologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team and may be required to work flexible schedules, alternate shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for MRI procedures, explaining procedures to minimize patient anxiety, applying MRI safety protocols, operating MRI equipment and associated devices, positioning and immobilizing patients as needed, selecting appropriate imaging sequences, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
Additional duties include performing venipuncture, maintaining venous access, administering contrast media, verifying patient consent and screening forms, assisting physicians with interventional procedures, practicing aseptic technique, monitoring patient safety throughout procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation in radiology systems including PACS and EMR platforms.
The technologist will also evaluate image quality, reconstruct digital imaging data, initiate basic life support when necessary, and assist with training students and staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- Experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
- ARRT Radiography certification required
- ARRT MRI certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Shift Schedule:
- 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts per week
- Weekend and on-call rotation required

$68.09 - $72.97/hour
