MRI Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist)

Position Summary

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The technologist will prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process.
Screen patients for implants, medical devices, and MRI safety risks.
Position patients correctly to obtain clear diagnostic images.
Operate and monitor MRI equipment and imaging software.
Administer contrast agents as authorized and according to established protocols.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to concerns.
Follow MRI safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent qualification in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Current state license as required.
ARRT certification in MRI or Radiography preferred or required as applicable.
Previous MRI experience preferred.
Knowledge of MRI protocols, anatomy, and magnetic field safety.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Pay Rate
$83.66 - $88.54/hour
