MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The candidate will ensure patient safety, operate MRI equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process.
Screen patients for MRI safety risks, including implants and metal objects.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to safety guidelines.
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to their needs.
Review images for quality and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, and MRI safety protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent education in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology.
ARRT certification in MRI or Radiography, or ARMRIT certification, as applicable.
State license required where applicable.
Previous MRI imaging experience preferred.
Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and patient safety protocols.
Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay Rate
$72.68 - $77.56/hour
