LPN – Med Surg | Job Description

Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit under the supervision of an RN or physician.
Administer medications, IV therapies, injections, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Monitor vital signs, blood glucose levels, patient conditions, and report changes promptly to the healthcare team.
Perform wound care, patient assessments, catheter care, and other routine nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation, medication records, care plans, and nursing notes.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient education.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.

Pay Rate
$38.24 - $43.12/hour
