Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians. The LPN will deliver direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing care plans, and facility policies
- Assess patients, obtain vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse or provider
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV therapy (where permitted), treatments, and other nursing interventions within the scope of practice
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, disease management, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and continuity of care
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
- Promote a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Licensed Practical Nurse experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, patient assessment, and clinical care
- Excellent communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$23.23 - $28.10/hour
