A T-LPN LTC (Travel Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care) typically has the following responsibilities:
Basic Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document residents' health conditions and report changes to the RN or physician.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Supervise and assist CNAs in delivering patient care.
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to provide quality care.
- Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN license.
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different facilities as a travel nurse.
Pay Rate
$38.05 - $42.93/hour
