Interventional Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Technologist to support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist will prepare equipment and patients, operate imaging technology, maintain sterile technique, and ensure safe and efficient procedural care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety practices.
- Prepare and handle catheters, wires, instruments, and procedural supplies.
- Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition.
- Assist with contrast administration and other procedural needs as directed.
- Perform equipment checks and report malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate procedure and patient documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and departmental standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as required for the position and state.
- ARRT certification or equivalent imaging credential preferred.
- Previous Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or vascular procedure experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fluoroscopy, sterile technique, radiation safety, and interventional procedures.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
Pay Rate
$87.14 - $92.02/hour
