Inpatient Pharmacist
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to provide safe and effective medication management for hospitalized patients while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications and ensure timely delivery to inpatient units.
- Monitor patients for drug interactions, allergies, dosing concerns, and adverse effects.
- Provide clinical pharmacy recommendations to physicians and healthcare providers.
- Counsel healthcare staff and patients regarding medications when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with medication safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree.
- Current and active Pharmacist license as required by the state.
- Previous hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and attention to detail.
Pay Rate
$128,000.00 - $183,000.00/year
