Imaging Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately while providing high-quality patient care and supporting the imaging team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare and position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Operate and monitor imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Review images for technical quality and obtain additional images as needed.
Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient-care standards.
Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related imaging program.
Current ARRT certification or applicable imaging credential.
Current state license or registration as required.
Current BLS certification.
Previous hospital or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
Strong technical, communication, attention-to-detail, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
