Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to critically ill and medically complex patients. The RN will continuously monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, manage advanced therapies, and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for critically ill patients.
- Continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
- Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, invasive monitoring, and other critical-care interventions.
- Monitor laboratory and diagnostic results and promptly communicate significant changes.
- Recognize and respond to clinical deterioration, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and other emergencies.
- Assist physicians with procedures and advanced critical-care interventions.
- Manage central lines, arterial lines, drains, catheters, and other critical-care devices as appropriate.
- Provide wound care, medication management, and comprehensive bedside nursing care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and critical-care procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and critical-care protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical-care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of critical-care nursing, hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and advanced patient care.
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical-thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a high-acuity environment.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN preferred.
- Previous medical, surgical, cardiac, or mixed ICU experience.
- Experience with ventilated patients, vasoactive medications, CRRT, and invasive monitoring preferred.
- CCRN certification preferred.
- Experience with rapid response and code situations.
- Strong teamwork and crisis-management skills.

Pay Rate
$71.90 - $76.78/hour
