Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients, promptly responding to changes in condition and escalating concerns as needed.
Administer medications, vasoactive infusions, blood products, and advanced therapies in accordance with ICU protocols and individualized care plans.
Assist physicians with complex procedures, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and ensure accurate interpretation and documentation of clinical data.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, ICU processes, and discharge expectations to support understanding during high-stress situations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team during rounds and throughout the shift to coordinate care, plan interventions, and promote continuity across transitions.
Maintain meticulous documentation and participate in unit-based safety, quality, and performance-improvement activities.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure - no license hits allowed
