Job Details

- At least 1 year of EEG Technologist experience

-High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization AND
-#1: At least 1 year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or health care setting

OR

-#2: Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience, where Certificate of Completion from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) recognized training program.

OR

-#3: Graduate from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program may be substituted for one (1) year of experience, as described in #1 above.

-Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
-High School Diploma/GED required
-EEG Certification required
- Shift: 2 12-hour shifts and an 11-hour shiftDuties:

Prepares patient for EEG exam, applies electrodes to patient's head, operates and maintains appropriate equipment, identifies tracing, prepares records.

$40.93 - $45.80/hour
