ED/Med-Surg RN
Provide safe and comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department and those requiring medical-surgical care. The RN will assess and prioritize patient needs, administer treatments, monitor clinical conditions, and respond effectively to changing patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and prioritize patient care based on clinical needs.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Assist with emergency interventions, procedures, and patient stabilization.
- Provide medical-surgical nursing care to patients with acute and chronic conditions.
- Recognize and respond promptly to clinical deterioration and emergencies.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow emergency, infection control, safety, and nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous Emergency Department and/or Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
