Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
Position Summary
We are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide timely and specialized care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries. The ED RN will assess patients, administer treatments, respond to emergencies, and support safe patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform rapid assessments and prioritize patients based on clinical needs.
Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
Assist with emergency procedures and interventions.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
Provide wound care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures as required.
Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses.
Maintain infection control, patient safety, and emergency care standards.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous emergency department or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
BLS and ACLS certification as required for the role.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skil
Pay Rate
$58.18 - $63.06/hour
