CT/X-Ray Technologist
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-ray equipment. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient safety and comfort, and work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment according to established protocols.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and minimize patient exposure while maintaining image quality.
- Review images for quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
- Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients for potential reactions according to facility protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and departmental policies.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as required for CT and X-ray imaging.
- ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred or required based on the position.
- Previous experience performing both CT and X-ray examinations preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate diagnostic images.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$61,110.40 - $91,665.60/hour
