Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT/Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, position patients accurately, produce high-quality diagnostic images, administer contrast when appropriate, and maintain radiation and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray and CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Verify patient identity, clinical history, allergies, and examination requirements.
- Explain procedures and safely position patients for imaging.
- Operate radiographic and CT equipment efficiently and safely.
- Select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media according to applicable protocols and scope of practice.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
- Evaluate images for positioning, quality, and diagnostic value.
- Perform CT image reconstruction and post-processing as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS.
- Follow radiation safety, ALARA, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required/preferred based on position requirements.
- Active state Radiologic Technologist license where applicable.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT/Radiology experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, CT protocols, anatomy, radiation safety, and contrast administration.
- Excellent communication, technical, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification.
- Experience with emergency, trauma, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical imaging.
- Experience with contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
- Experience with portable X-ray and C-arm imaging preferred.
- Knowledge of CT angiography and advanced imaging protocols preferred.
- Strong image quality and post-processing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Pay Rate
$70,720.00 - $99,299.20/year
