Job Description: Credentialing Specialist
The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for managing and facilitating all aspects of provider credentialing. This includes initial appointments, reappointments, credential audits, and clinical privileging for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers, in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and hospital bylaws.
The role involves utilizing MDStaff credentialing software to perform and monitor all credentialing processes while ensuring a high level of accuracy and data integrity. The specialist is also responsible for interpreting and ensuring compliance with applicable accrediting and regulatory agency requirements, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant statutes and laws related to credentialing.
Pay Rate
$27.74 - $32.62/hour
