Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, helping patients improve their functional abilities and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and daily living skills.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises, activities, and functional training.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation and healthcare team.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active COTA license as required by state regulations.
- Current NBCOT COTA certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy and rehabilitation practices.
- Previous inpatient, outpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
