Job Description:

Position Responsibilities:
· Transports patients according to their physical abilities relative to the exams requested.
· Uses positioning aides as needed to produce a quality patient exam.
· Operates all CT associated equipment.
· Protects patient according to X-Ray Department policies and procedures.
· Assists/administers contrast media as ordered by Radiologist.
· Assists in performing special procedures.
· Assists in the training of Radiology students.
· Practices sterile technique and Universal Precaution.
· Maintains all records according to X-ray Department policies and procedures.
· Cleans rooms following each examination.
· Restocks linen and supplies as needed.
CT Tech Required Education & Experience:
· Two years previous experience preferred.
· Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school and is registered by the ARRT.
· Registered/certified CT Technologist required.
· BLS Certification Required.
-MRI is a BIG PLUS but not required
