Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care. The candidate will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, prepare patients for examinations, and help ensure smooth daily operations in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures.

• Record vital signs, patient histories, and other relevant information.

• Assist physicians and nurses with clinical procedures.

• Administer medications and perform basic clinical tasks as permitted.

• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in and check-out.

• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Follow infection control procedures and patient safety protocols.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, as required.

• Previous medical assistant experience preferred.

• Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical terminology, and patient care practices.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
