Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile procedural environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cardiac catheterization or cardiovascular procedure room.
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and other invasive procedures.
- Operate and monitor specialized cardiovascular imaging and procedural equipment.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and monitoring.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment and ensure necessary supplies are available.
- Assist with emergency procedures and maintain procedural readiness.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program.
- RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent certification preferred/required based on role.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, invasive procedures, sterile technique, and radiation safety.
- Previous Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiology, or Cardiovascular experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$81.81 - $86.69/hour
