Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology (Cath/EP) Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The technologist will support physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, operate specialized equipment, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and other specialized equipment.
• Monitor patient status and report changes during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment and adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care as needed.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related allied health program.
• Active and unrestricted certification or license in a related specialty.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and cardiovascular equipment.
• Excellent technical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Previous Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$83.33 - $88.21/hour
