Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Position Summary
We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. The technologist will prepare equipment and patients, assist during procedures, monitor sterile supplies, and support the cardiac care team.
Responsibilities

Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab, equipment, and supplies for procedures.

Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Assist physicians and nurses during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Operate and monitor specialized imaging and monitoring equipment.

Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.

Assist with contrast administration and monitor patient responses as directed.

Monitor and document vital signs and procedural information.

Prepare, handle, and maintain catheters, wires, and other procedural supplies.

Maintain accurate procedure records and inventory.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and assist with resuscitation procedures.

Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
-
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related program.

Appropriate certification or registration, such as ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent, as applicable.

Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.

Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, sterile technique, and radiation safety.

Strong technical, critical-thinking, and communication skills.

Pay Rate
$90.96 - $95.83/hour
