Job Title: RN – Rehab and Med/Surg Float
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care across rehabilitation and medical-surgical units based on patient and staffing needs. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor progress, and adapt to different clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation and medical-surgical patients.
- Assess patients and monitor vital signs and changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with rehabilitation and daily patient care needs.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care as needed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Float between units based on staffing and patient needs.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Medical-surgical or rehabilitation nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general nursing and rehabilitation care.
- BLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
- Ability to adapt to different units, patient populations, and workflows.
- Strong assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
