Strict 75 mile radius restriction!
We have 20 beds in our unit. 2:1 ratio, but 1:1 is not uncommon with some of our higher acuity patients. We see neuro patients who are herniating and have "brain drains", ortho trauma requiring traction, cardiovascular devices such as balloon pumps, impellas, ekos, as well as our post-op open-heart CABG patients. Open abdomens from the OR that are often re-opened at bedside. Our unit will also contain the ecmo program that is planned to start this summer. We're looking for the travel nurses who have had experience in ICUs or STICUs in level 1-2 trauma centers. Our population here is very unique where we have a lot of renal patients also who need CRRT that RNs run at bedside. The above devices are specialized training on top of generic ICU experience. Medical ICU patients do come to our unit if the bed is needed due to our sister units being full.
Pay Rate
$56.83 - $61.71/hour
