RN – Emergency Department (ED)
Position Summary
We are seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide rapid and compassionate care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries. The RN will assess and triage patients, administer treatments, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the emergency care team.
Responsibilities
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on clinical needs.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and changes in condition.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
Provide emergency nursing care for patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
Assist with emergency procedures, resuscitation, and patient stabilization.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Perform wound care and other nursing procedures as required.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Follow patient safety, infection control, and emergency care standards.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience preferred.
Strong triage, assessment, critical-thinking, and emergency response skills.
BLS and ACLS certification required or preferred based on role requirements.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
