Registered Nurse / Labor and Delivery

Position Summary

We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal conditions, administer medications and treatments, assist with deliveries, and support patients and families.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and patient response.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments.
Assist physicians and other providers during deliveries and procedures.
Provide labor support, pain management, and patient education.
Recognize and respond promptly to maternal or fetal complications.
Assist with emergency interventions and obstetric procedures as needed.
Provide immediate postpartum care and support newborn care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and obstetric care standards.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous Labor and Delivery or maternal-child health experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
BLS and ACLS certification as required for the role.

Pay Rate
$60.01 - $64.88/hour
