Nursing Director – Inpatient Care
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director – Inpatient Care to oversee nursing operations and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care within an inpatient setting. This role provides clinical leadership, supports nursing staff, manages daily operations, and promotes compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and patient care activities within inpatient units.
- Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff to promote safe and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor staffing levels, schedules, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Monitor patient outcomes, safety measures, and quality indicators.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Address patient care concerns, staff issues, and operational challenges in a timely manner.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Participate in budgeting, workforce planning, and departmental resource management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement of nursing services.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; advanced nursing or healthcare administration degree is a plus.
- Previous leadership or management experience in an inpatient or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient safety, and quality improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage staffing, operational priorities, and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
Pay Rate
$90.96 - $95.83/hour
