IP Rehab OT – Acute
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive therapy to acute-care patients and help them improve functional abilities, independence, and safe participation in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and activities of daily living.
Assist patients with transfers, functional mobility, and self-care tasks.
Assess patients’ needs for adaptive equipment and recommend appropriate strategies.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current OT license as required by the state.
Current NBCOT certification or equivalent as applicable.
Current BLS certification.
Previous acute-care, inpatient rehabilitation, or hospital experience preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
