Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill and complex patients. The ICU RN will closely monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, manage critical care equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe and effective patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and other critical parameters.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
- Manage ventilators, IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Assist with procedures, resuscitation, and advanced life-support interventions.
- Develop and update individualized nursing care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and critical-care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license as required.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred or required as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing, cardiac monitoring, and ventilator management.
- Excellent clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage high-acuity patients and multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$63.52 - $68.39/hour
