Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee daily nursing operations. The Nurse Manager will support staff development, patient care quality, staffing, regulatory compliance, and departmental performance while promoting a safe and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff and promote professional development.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, assignments, and departmental resources.
  • Monitor patient outcomes, quality indicators, and nursing performance.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff retention.
  • Address patient and family concerns and support service recovery efforts.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor supplies, equipment, and departmental needs.
  • Review documentation and promote accurate and timely charting.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Support education, competency development, and ongoing staff training.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and respond to complex patient-care situations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred; ADN considered based on experience.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Previous charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practice, patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN preferred.
  • MSN or graduate-level nursing/healthcare leadership education preferred.
  • Leadership experience in acute care, inpatient, outpatient, or specialty settings.
  • Experience with staffing, budgeting, performance management, and quality initiatives.
  • Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay Rate
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00/year
