X-Ray Technologist
Position Summary
We are seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations and produce high-quality images for accurate patient diagnosis. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and work closely with physicians and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations as ordered.
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions during procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate techniques.
- Review images for quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
- Assist with patient transfers and provide safe, compassionate care.
- Communicate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized imaging area.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification or eligibility, as applicable.
- Current state radiologic technologist license, as required.
- Previous X-ray or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging procedures.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
