Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across a variety of healthcare settings. The RN will assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Provide wound care, patient education, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, disease management, and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic patient care environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred or required based on assignment
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical care
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
