Full-Time Dialysis Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a Dialysis Technician to support the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis treatments. The technician will prepare dialysis equipment, assist with patient care, monitor treatments, and maintain a safe and clean dialysis environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up dialysis machines and equipment before treatments.
- Assist with initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments as directed.
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Check and maintain dialysis equipment for proper operation.
- Monitor treatment parameters and document patient information accurately.
- Maintain appropriate infection control and safety procedures.
- Clean and disinfect dialysis machines and treatment areas.
- Maintain adequate supplies and prepare equipment for subsequent treatments.
- Provide basic patient support and education as directed by the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved dialysis technician training program preferred.
- Dialysis technician certification preferred or required based on applicable requirements.
- Previous dialysis or healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and infection control procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$25.41 - $30.28/hour
