RN – Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Position Summary

Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in the Critical Care Unit. Monitor complex medical conditions, administer treatments, and respond quickly to changes in patient status to support safe and effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
  • Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, labs, and other critical care parameters.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Manage and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and clinical emergencies.
  • Assist with procedures and advanced life-support interventions as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment and care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Follow infection-control, patient safety, and critical care standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
  • Previous CCU, ICU, or critical care nursing experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong critical-thinking, assessment, communication, and clinical skills.

Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
