Ultrasound Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS certification preferred/required based on role.
- Active state license/certification as required by regulations.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and patient care.
- Previous hospital or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
