Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS/RVT

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS/RVT) to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and vascular studies. The technologist will operate ultrasound equipment, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, assist physicians with accurate diagnosis, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each examination.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general, abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and other ultrasound examinations as ordered.
  • Perform vascular studies and Doppler examinations according to established protocols.
  • Obtain and document accurate diagnostic images and measurements.
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
  • Review images for quality and completeness before submitting for interpretation.
  • Recognize and document abnormal findings and communicate relevant information to the appropriate physician.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and departmental procedures.
  • Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures when required.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
  • Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and dignity throughout examinations.

Qualifications:

  • Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification.
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential preferred/required based on position.
  • ARDMS certification in relevant specialties preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Previous ultrasound and vascular imaging experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, physiology, and Doppler techniques.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
