Job Details
Certs- BLS, Sonographer. Must be registered. 3-5 years experience and independant. Black scrubs. Plus to have Samsung US equipment and Epic knoweldge. Positive and hard working mindset. ARDMS or RDMS certification for US.

Hospital: 4 US machines, 3 rooms
Cornwall: 3 machines, 2 rooms (1 in ER)
Ashburn: 3 machines, 2 rooms (1 in ER)
Will they have to float/cover any other areas?
Weekend techs mainly work in the hospital, and cover ER’s at Cornwall and Ashburn
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties
Abdominal ultrasound, kidney/bladder, thyroid, testicular, female pelvis TA/TV, early OB TA/TV, late OB (biometrics, BPP), no anatomy on weekends, DVT arm and legs, carotid US, pediatric (appendix, intussusception, pyloric stenosis; rarely head and spine from ER), lumps and bumps, hernia studies; ultrasound guides OR cases
Experience or 'Must have' skills
Minimum 1 year experience required;
Techs must be able to perform any type of study done in the department (except of anatomy- only if working weekdays);
Pediatric training available, but pediatric experience highly desirable
Average # of scans/studies per day
10-16/ 12 h shift
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use
We use EPIC
and Visage for PACS
