Ultrasound Sonographer (OB Experience Required)
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer with OB experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The sonographer will ensure patient comfort and safety while following established imaging protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform obstetric and general ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and privacy.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal imaging.
- Obtain accurate images, measurements, and Doppler studies as required.
- Recognize and document relevant findings and ensure image quality.
- Monitor patients during examinations and report significant findings or changes appropriately.
- Maintain accurate examination records and documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and radiation/imaging safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent.
- Current ARDMS or equivalent certification preferred/required as applicable.
- Previous OB ultrasound experience is required.
- Knowledge of obstetric anatomy, fetal development, Doppler techniques, and ultrasound protocols.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
