Ultrasonographer
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any concerns or abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and imaging protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Active state license/certification as required by state regulations.
- Current ARDMS certification preferred or required based on specialty.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and imaging principles.
- Previous ultrasound or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
