Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across various healthcare facilities. The Travel RN will deliver evidence-based nursing care, assess patient needs, administer treatments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and quickly adapt to new clinical environments, workflows, and patient populations. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to maintaining safe and patient-centered care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in assigned clinical settings
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
• Monitor patient responses and recognize changes requiring clinical intervention
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and facility policies
• Operate and monitor medical equipment based on patient needs and assigned specialty
• Support patient transitions, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Adapt quickly to different hospital systems, workflows, and care environments
• Provide safe, compassionate, and professional care while maintaining clinical excellence
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialty certifications required based on assignment
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Willingness and ability to travel for contract assignments
Pay Rate
$37.18 - $42.05/hour
