Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Summary

Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients across different healthcare settings and locations. Evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and help improve mobility, strength, function, and independence while adapting to new clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Assist with transfers, balance, mobility, and functional training.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adapt effectively to different facilities, patient populations, and clinical environments.
• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Travel or contract healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare settings and assignments.
