Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Summary

The Travel Physical Therapist provides skilled therapy services to patients while working on temporary assignments in different healthcare settings. This role evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides evidence-based therapy to improve mobility, strength, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other appropriate interventions
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Adapt to different clinical environments, workflows, and patient populations
• Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the applicable state
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Previous clinical experience preferred; travel PT experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
