Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled rehabilitation services across a variety of healthcare settings. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence, enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), and promote overall quality of life while adapting to new clinical environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, cognition, fine motor skills, and functional mobility.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, splints, orthotics, and environmental modifications to maximize patient independence.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, energy conservation, and safety strategies.
  • Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in discharge planning and coordinate continuity of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, adaptive equipment, therapeutic interventions, and patient assessment.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$54.20 - $59.08/hour
